When the Resistance successfully attacked Starkiller Base and injured Kylo Ren, Snoke called for a retreat of the First Order and for Hux to bring Kylo Ren to him to finish his training. When it became clear that the Resistance was close to finding Luke Skywalker, Snoke gave General Hux permission to use the Starkiller Base to destroy the government of the New Republic. Also during this time or shortly afterwards, Snoke seduced Ben Solo to the Dark Side, motivating him to kill the rest of Luke Skywalker's apprentices. At some point after the fall of the Galatic Empire, Supreme Leader Snoke helped organize the First Order. Snoke is portrayed by actor and motion-capture specialist Andy Serkis.
